Rare neuroimmune disorders can affect anyone at any time. Approximately 25-30% are children, including under one year old. No effective treatments yet exist to restore myelin once it has been destroyed. There currently is no cure.

Join us for an extraordinary evening in celebration of SRNA’s 25th anniversary to help bring light and hope for the future.

100% of what you give will advance research in the field of rare neuroimmune disorders.

It was November 2011, our then 10-year old daughter, Sarah, walked into our bedroom in the morning after she awoke and within 30 minutes collapsed in front of our eyes. Our already mentally challenged daughter was now paralyzed, and our lives forever changed. We were told that we were lucky that the acute onset did not take place in the cervical part of her spine or she may have needed permanent assistance to breathe.

We were not feeling lucky. The world for our family changed that day and now we were faced with the everyday challenges of raising our paralyzed daughter. We tried to comprehend the doctor’s explanation that currently there is no medicine or treatment plan available to heal this child or anyone else suffering from these disorders. We were told she could possibly walk with constant and consistent physical therapy, or she might not.

It was then, eight years ago that our mission began. We are asking that you join our family and families of those diagnosed with ADEM, AFM, MOGAD, NMOSD, ON and TM, on this ongoing mission to find a cause and a cure for these devastating rare auto-immune neurological disorders.

We are dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support the mission of SRNA. Guests will enjoy a once in a lifetime experience – an up close and personal experience of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo in the Saturn V room while attending the Gala to support individuals affected by rare neuroimmune disorders. Guests will see real Apollo V artifacts and enjoy the amazing exhibits while they fundraise for innovative research. We are excited to welcome back all of our previous guests and sponsors who have so generously donated to our cause and are excited to welcome new guests and sponsors who are about to join our heartfelt efforts to find a cure for these debilitating conditions.
