Please join us for the next meeting of our D.C. Metro Area Support Group on Saturday, November 10th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET.
This meeting will focus on caregivers. Caregivers play an important role in the lives of those diagnosed with rare neuroimmune disorders. One of the most important attributes of being an advocate for a loved one is the ability to speak up to health care professionals, protecting not only the health and safety of your loved ones, but for yourself as well. Guest speaker, Jimmy Miller, will talk about his experience as a caregiver and advocate.
If you are a caregiver, or know of a caregiver, who would like to attend and/or speak at this meeting, please contact Tanisha Willis via [email protected].
If you’ve been to a support group meeting before you already understand the benefits. If you are considering joining for the first time, you won’t regret it. You will learn that there is nothing like connecting with another person diagnosed with a rare neuroimmune disorder.
