Being an advocate for yourself is important. The Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association promotes self-advocacy through our programs and educational materials.
Our website has hundreds of resources (videos, articles, podcasts) available on diagnosis, treatment, symptom management, etc. We also have a Medical Professional Network to help you find care in your area. In addition, we have a helpline and peer connect section to help answer questions.
There is so much available information if you know where to find it. And we’re excited to help you do just that!
Join this meeting and learn how to be your own best advocate!
Thank you to Gail for making this happen.
Here are the details for this online support group meeting on how to use the SRNA website.
First, make sure your computer, tablet, or phone is compatible with Zoom.
Also, please make sure you mute yourself when you are not speaking. The presenter is able to mute and unmute attendees, but it is easier if we all work together to ensure there is no background noise. Along those same lines, we recommend using headphones if possible. It helps eliminate feedback and makes it easier for attendees to hear more clearly.
Zoom allows for video and audio options. You are welcome to join via your computer and webcam device, tablet, or you can simply call in via phone. There is no requirement to turn on your camera if you do not want to.
We will start on time to respect everyone’s schedule.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns before or during the meeting, please contact Jeremy Bennett at [email protected] and he will assist you.
