We are excited to announce the launch of a multidisciplinary center caring for children, adolescents, and young adults with all types of neuroinflammatory diseases. Launched in August 2021 with pediatric neuroimmunologist and clinic director Dr. Kristen Fisher, we have started seeing patients with rare neuroinflammatory diseases in our multidisciplinary model clinic in the Cincinnati, Ohio region.

Neuroinflammatory diseases are rare diagnoses, and it often takes a team of experts to help diagnose and treat children with neuroinflammatory and neuroimmune conditions.  Our goal at the Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center is to offer sophisticated testing, cutting-edge treatments, and personalized, long-term follow up, all in one location.

Our team is dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and young adults experience the best quality of life possible. Whether a child has already been diagnosed or needs an initial diagnosis, we are here to help. Our team includes pediatric neuroimmunology, neuro-ophthalmology, rheumatology, psychiatry, psychology, neuropsychology, and neuroradiology specialists. Together, we provide a personalized approach to care, with a treatment plan that is tailored to each child’s unique needs. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, coordinated care amongst our team using up to date diagnostic and treatment options. Additionally, we look to participate in research to further the field and care of patients with rare neuroimmune conditions.

We care for a wide array of patients and diagnoses including acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), acute flaccid myelitis (AFM), MOG antibody disease (MOGAD), neuromyelitis optica (NMO), optic neuritis (ON), transverse myelitis (TM), and more.
