Messages of Gratitude from the SRNA Team
We at the Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association would like to take a moment to say thank you for making our 30th anniversary year one to remember. We are so grateful for this community and appreciate you making SRNA a part of your lives. We’ve made so many wonderful memories these past 30 years, and we’ve loved getting to connect with everyone through our many events and programs.
“I am so grateful to the community that has helped SRNA become what it is today. Through the help of volunteers, members, and donors, this organization has been able to blossom and grow. Thank you to every person who has read a blog post, listened to a podcast, participated in a support group, attended the RNDS, or engaged with us in some other way. You help make the community stronger.”
Kristina Dilger, Research and Program Manager
“Thank you to every person who has participated, volunteered, contributed, read, listened to, or attended SRNA programs this year. The SRNA community is full of amazing people from all walks of life all across the globe – people diagnosed, physicians, parents, siblings, rehabilitation therapists, grandparents, friends, advocates…this work would not be possible without each of you. Thank you to every person who has bravely and vulnerably shared their story, to all of the volunteers who support SRNA in so many ways, and to the team of people behind the scenes – I am grateful for you!”
Lydia Dubose, Community and Volunteer Engagement Manager
“I’m grateful for the powerful and life-changing connections between volunteers, medical professionals, staff, and members of our community.”
Angel Simpelo, Administrative and Creative Assistant
“Thank you to the amazing SRNA community, and a special thank you to all our amazing SRNA volunteers! Without volunteers, the work we get to do to connect and care for our community wouldn’t be possible. These disorders are isolating, but together we can navigate the medical journey, interconnected by the efforts of people like our volunteers who willingly give their time and skills in the hopes of helping others in the community. You are all amazing, kind, and helpful people—you are changing lives for the better. Never forget that, and please know we at SRNA and the people you help serve are so grateful!”
Landy Thomas, Program Associate, Communications and Community Programs
“A huge thank you to SRNA volunteers for your dedication and compassion for our community. Your efforts make a real difference in the lives of those of us with rare neuroimmune disorders by providing comfort, resources, and a sense of hope. Thank you for all that you do!”
GG deFiebre, Director of Research and Programs
“My heartfelt gratitude to the SRNA community for sharing your stories, successes, challenges and your support. You have helped create a stronger, more resilient community where we can grow together, overcome obstacles, and make a meaningful difference. Thank you all.”
Chitra Krishnan, Executive Director
“I’m so thankful for this wonderful community we get to work with and for every single day. You’ve all taught me so much. I’m grateful for every single person I talked with at a support group meeting, an event, or even just over email. You all keep us going. Thank you!”
Skye Corken, Senior Coordinator, Communications, Volunteer and Community Engagement
We are so blessed to be part of such a wonderful and caring community. We hope you can take this time to connect with your family members and friends during this season of gratitude. Once again, thank you for making SRNA a part of your life and for showing us the true #powerofcommunity.
Please join us on Tuesday, December 3, in giving back, spreading kindness, and showing how together we can be a force for good for Giving Tuesday.
