The Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association is committed to offering opportunities for continuing education units (CEUs) and continuing medical education (CME) for medical professionals interested in learning about rare neuroimmune disorders
CRND CERTIFICATION
In every neurology practice that specializes in MS, there are a considerable number of people who have rarer disorders related to but distinct from MS. These people have one of a spectrum of rare neuroimmune disorders that includes transverse myelitis (TM), neuromyelitis optics spectrum disorder (NMOSD), optic neuritis (ON), and acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM). Those who are educated and aware of the characteristics of these disorders can provide prompt diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
The CMSC, under the umbrella of its MSCS Committee, is proud to announce the development of a certification process for specialists in rare neuroimmune disorders, which will provide successful candidates with recognition as a CRND (Certification Exam in Rare Neuroimmune Disorders). All licensed health professionals with one-year relevant experience in neuro-immunology are eligible to take the certification test.
