Dr. Erin McGonigle, a Physiatrist with Northwest Neurology, will be the speaker. Patients and their families/friends/caregivers are welcome.
Dr. McGonigle will discuss the importance of exercise for those with spinal cord injuries including physical therapy, fitness centers and home exercise programs. Dr. McGonigle is a board certified physiatrist specializing in Neurorehabilitation. Her practice in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation focuses on returning patients to their previous level of function and optimizing their physical well-being. She is fellowship-trained in the management of spasticity, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis and brain injuries.
