Rare Do Care Walk-Run-N-Roll

In honor of Rare Disease Month in February, SRNA was excited to offer a virtual Rare Do Care Walk-Run-N-Roll. We are so grateful to the members of our community who raised funds, amounting to $1,060!

Participants chose a goal distance and logged their miles in February. They were able to walk, run, or roll their way to the goal – and raise money and awareness along the way! Funds raised through this event are used to further research and support our programs including podcasts, Quality of Life Family Camp, and daily support and outreach.

One community member shared about why he chose to participate: “There is no more effective organization than SRNA to better the diagnosis, treatment, recovery and ongoing quality of life for me and other TM and other rare neuroimmune condition survivors,” Phillip Rive explained. “I work harder and feel better about my recovery and health when I combine service to others with a shared fitness goal.”

Join us this September in Massachusetts and October in Arizona to Walk-Run-N-Roll together this fall! If you would like to host an event in your community, click here to learn more and get started.
