SRNA Staff Travels

As part of SRNA’s dedication to continuing education, our team members have attended conferences to continue growing their knowledge.

Director of Research and Programs, GG deFiebre, and Associate Director of Programs and Community Support, Rebecca Whitney, attended the Annual Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting in Seattle in April, where they met with doctors in SRNA’s professional network, attended talks, and learned more about rare neuroimmune disorders.

Research and Program Manager Krissy Dilger and Rebecca Whitney attended the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers Annual Meeting in June. This is the leading research and educational conference for MS healthcare professionals in North America, and sessions were dedicated to learning more about NMOSD and MOGAD.

Community Engagement Manager Lydia Dubose, Rebecca Whitney, and GG deFiebre traveled to Deerfield, IL for Horizon Therapeutics’ Learn NMOre Together Week, where they learned more about Horizon and met with other NMOSD advocacy organizations, patients, and advocacy organizations focused on MS, child neurology, and blindness.

Communications and Engagement Coordinator Skye Corken and Krissy Dilger attended the 2022 International NMO Patient Day hosted by the Guthy Jackson Charitable Foundation in Los Angeles. This international event brings the NMO community together in person and virtually to become better connected and learn about current research and programs.

We are so grateful for these opportunities to network, meet our partners, collaborate and continue to grow our knowledge to make sure we are always providing our community with the most up-to-date research, information and support.
