30 Years of Impact: Conclusion
30 Years of Impact.
It’s amazing that we’ve come this far.
Although 2024 has had its ups and downs, as most years do, we are glad to know that now, people are often getting diagnosed quicker and more accurately. Doctors have become more knowledgeable about the existence of rare neuroimmune disorders and are more likely to at least have heard of a disorder. In 1994, most everything we stand for and represent was unheard of. Those days were so isolating—and those days, luckily, are done.
With the rise of the internet, no one is alone. We all have instantaneous access to one another, and support that is accessible to anyone at any stage of their journey. SRNA is proud to be an organization that helps facilitate these connections.
We hope, knowing that the world is a much better place for those with rare neuroimmune disorders now, that you don’t feel alone, and if you do, that you know that you can reach out. We are here for you all, with a great love for our community in our hearts.
We hope this issue of SRNA Magazine spoke to you. We hope you feel invited and seen.
We’ll see you next time for the first issue of SRNA’s 2025 Magazine.
