Dr. Lana Harder
Clinical Neuropsychologist, Children’s Medical Center and Associate Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Psychiatry, Department of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics, Dallas, TX
Dr. Lana Harder completed her doctoral training at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Since 2008, Dr. Harder has served as a Clinical Neuropsychologist at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and she is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Associate Professor of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She is board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology and a board certified subspecialist in Pediatric Neuropsychology. Dr. Harder specializes in the neuropsychological evaluation of pediatric patients, from infancy to young adults, with disorders of the central nervous system. Dr. Harder serves as the Co-Director of the Children’s Medical Center Dallas Pediatric CONQUER Clinic. Research interests include cognitive and psychosocial outcomes for pediatric multiple sclerosis (MS), transverse myelitis (TM), acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), optic neuritis (ON), and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD).
Susan Schoppa, JD
Supervising Attorney, Medical-Legal Partnership for Children | Dallas Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas | University of Texas Southwestern
Susan Schoppa is the Legal Director of the Medical-Legal Partnership for Children|Dallas housed on-site at Children’s Medical Center. The MLP approach “builds a healthcare team able to identify, treat and prevent health-harming legal needs for patients, clinics and populations.” Susan has legal expertise in special education and government benefits, in addition to practice experience with housing, family, and consumer law cases. She teaches and lectures regularly on public health topics for students, residents, and faculty in the Department of Pediatrics, UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. She is a supervising attorney with Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas.
