ADEM Academy | An Educational Podcast Series
ADEM Academy is a collaborative, multi-part education podcast series designed to educate, and create awareness regarding acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, or ADEM. Through this podcast, we hope to support families, children, and clinicians during and through a diagnosis. Ultimately, our hope is to ensure an accurate and timely diagnosis of those with encephalopathy (abnormal functioning of the brain). Prompt diagnosis and treatment of ADEM may reduce or prevent the worsening of symptoms, leading to better outcomes.
This podcast series is a collaboration between The MOG Project and the Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association.
