Upcoming Events

We’d be remiss publish an issue on connection without showcasing all the opportunities we have for you to connect!

Every month, we have several support group meetings, with some being open to everyone, while others are more specialized, like a group specifically for young adults. The dates and times for these meetings vary by month, so you can find out each month’s meeting dates by visiting us on social media.

Social media is the best way to see what we’re up to, but receiving email notifications after becoming a SRNA member can also help to keep you in the loop.

SRNA also holds awareness months March through July for each of the respective disorders we represent. NMOSD Awareness Month, MOGAD Awareness Month, ADEM Awareness Month, TM Awareness Month, and AFM Awareness Month. This can be a great opportunity to post on social media and start conversations about what having these rare illnesses can mean.

Regionally, we’re proud to be putting on a handful of Walk-Run-N-Roll events!

SRNA volunteers Julie Barry and Kate Krietor invite you to join them at the 2024 Southwest Walk-Run-N-Roll on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Gene C. Reid Park in Tucson, Arizona. If you’re interested in attending, learn more and register here.

SRNA volunteers Philip Rive and Lena Loquellano invite you to join them at the 2024 West Coast Walk-Run-N-Roll on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Monte Verde Park in Lakewood, California. If you’re interested in attending, learn more and register here.

For the second time, SRNA volunteers Angie Keck, Stephanie Witt, and Megan Willis-Beikman invite you to join them at the 2024 Midwest Walk-Run-N-Roll on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at English Landing Park in Parkville, Missouri. If you’re interested in attending, learn more and register here.

Finally, SRNA’s annual Rare Neuroimmune Disorders Symposium (RNDS) will be back again this year in October, so stay connected until then to hear more details as they’re announced!
